Edwin Garner enjoys working with wood, creating pens and other lovely objects in his backyard workshop. Pens may be purchased at the Centerville Marketplace; other items may be seen at the Hickman County Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Garner is also an author. His book, “The Farmer’s Son,” relates his story growing up in Hickman County and helping to create many useful tools for farmers.

Edwin joined the Hickman County Arts and Crafts Guild around 2007. He has served as vice president and president. In 2018, the Guild awarded him Lifetime Membership. When he is not in his workshop, Edwin enjoys bird-watching.

He and Georgia have been married over 50 years; they have a son and a daughter.
