• We have 12 booths available for the Autumn in the Country Arts and Crafts Fair. We will accept applications through September 30th, as booths are available.
  • The discounted booth fee for Christmas Time’s a-Comin’ Arts and Crafts Fair ends September 9th. On September 10th, the booth fee will be an additional $10.
  • The Education Committee has established criteria for scholarships to be awarded to one senior at each high school beginning May 2018.
  • Several members will be working with students at Centerville Middle School Art Club beginning in September; Myra Orton is in charge of this project.
  • We voted to pursue the TAC Creative Aging Tennessee $5,000 grant. The Grinders Switch Foundation and the Senior Citizens Center will be working with us on this project.
  • The Spring Event Committee has decided to hold the event on the Courthouse Square. The Garden Club opted not to move from their location. Name yet to be decided.
  • Our events information and website link are listed on the Tennessee Craft Week and American Craft Week websites.
  • The Executive Board is working on revising the HCACG Bylaws.
  • Our next meeting will be held on Monday, September 18th at 6 p.m. at the Centerville United Methodist Church in the fellowship hall. All are welcome to attend!
